Bloating and wind
Mounjaro’s, Wegovy’s and Ozempic’s leaflets list bloating of the stomach and gas (flatulence) as common, up to 1 in 10 people. In two Zepbound trials, 3% to 4% reported each, against 2% on placebo. Wegovy’s and Ozempic’s list bloating among the signs of bowel obstruction, a severe form of constipation.
How common it is

If it bothers you
If a side effect bothers you or doesn’t go away, the NHS says a pharmacist or doctor may give advice on how to reduce it.
